We want to encourage NextGEN Gallery users to share their bugs with us. However, it is important for all bugs to be submitted the same way, so that they can be organized and reviewed more efficiently. With that said, please view the screencast and read the instructions below on how to submit a bug that you are experiencing.
To submit a bug that you have found while using NextGEN Gallery, visit the BitBucket bug submission page.
When you’re on the page, follow these steps to send the bug for developers to review.
1. Title your bug submission
2. Under Content, write a detailed description of the bug you are experiencing and the steps to reproduce
3. The type should be bug
4. Skip down to component and choose the section of the plugin that the bug exists
5. Pick the appropriate version of NextGEN Gallery that you’re using, such as 1.9.5 Beta 1
The last step is to complete the captcha and click the Report Issue button.
When complete, you are all set. At this point, our developers have been notified about the bug and will begin diagnostics.

One of the features I get asked for the most is having the ability to upload images to a CDN. Any chance that would be a feature we can look forward to at some point?

Before the acquisition of nextgen by Photocrati Media, there was a set of selections in the Gallery Options tab that allowed for “none,” “Description text,” or “Alt / Title text” to be selected for “Show thumbnail description.” That no longer exists and my description texts are showing up on the thumbnail page of the gallery.
Was this an omission by oversight? The gallery thumbnail pages on an art association website I am working on look like crap with all of that info below the thumbnail. I had been using the Alt / Title text as the “caption” with only the artists’ names under the thumbnails and it looked nice and clean.
Should this be reported as a bug or a feature request to get this option back?

I turned off every plug-in on the website and still get no “Show thumbnail description” section in the Options>Gallery>S (NGG plugin admin) that allows me to choose “None,” “Description text,” “Alt / Title text.” I usually do my edits and admin stuff in Firefox and there has been a recent update, so I logged in using Safari but still nothing. Even on another site where I am running Next Gen Gallery version 1.4.3 those choices, and indeed the heading “Show Thumbnail Description” has disappeared. I am at a loss as to what to do next or where to report this.

I use your fine NextGen Gallery with tags. Please implement the feature to sort images grouped by tags ascending and descending etc.

Hello NGG team, This is more a feature request than a bug report. We have a recent posts widget where a post excerpt and thumbnail is listed. It would be nice to have a thumbnail click open the post. But currently it is only possible to specify a “Page link to:” option. Please consider adding a “Post link to:” option in the Gallery Settings area.
