The Featured Image is a WordPress feature that many themes are using now. NextGEN Gallery users have been asking for a way to use their gallery images as Featured Images and we are happy to share that it is now possible in NextGEN Gallery 2.0.
So from now on while create a new post, visit the Featured Image panel and select Set NextGEN featured image.
